Professional blogging is making a relatively new appearance still on the internet, and therefore contains a large potential for marketers who possess a basic understanding of web design and language.

Right now there is only a small number of professional bloggers, but as more people recognize the potential of this profession, this number is expected to grow dramatically. Of course, whether this growth in numbers will remain on the rise is a matter only time will tell, as people don’t entirely make all of their income off of blogs.

Although most bloggers wish to earn money and become professionals, this is not always the case. Devoting an hour or two each day does not always lead to a viable income for the labor put into it. The most popular method for making money blogging is to sell advertising space with Google’s AdSense program or directly through a company that wishes to target your blogs audience. Yet very few bloggers reach a comfortable living with the income it alone provides.
