Coming in 2GB, 4GB and 8GB capacities, these eye-catching flash drives boast a rugged silicon rubber housing, a USB 2.0 connection interface and are backed by a five-year warranty. The 2GB, 4GB and 8GB models are priced at 5.43 Euro (about $7), 5.54 Euro (about $8) and 10.43 Euro (about $14), respectively.

D-Link ShareCenter Pulse NAS Storage

D-Link has finally launched their new ShareCenter Pulse NAS Storage that can hold a couple of 3.5-inch SATA hard-drives. The storage device features UPnP media streaming, iTunes server functionality, standalone BitTorrent downloads and various power management systems that D-Link reckons make the ShareCenter Pulse relatively green. The ShareCenter Pulse also supports hard-drive hibernation and “Green Ethernet”, which intelligently controls networking power consumption based on the state of your cabling, together with a smart fan that automatically adjusts according to temperature. You can also schedule fixed downtime, turning the NAS off when you won’t be needing it, and use it with Apple’s Time Machine backup. The D-Link ShareCenter Pulse NAS Storage is now available in the UK for £89.99 ($141) with no drives.

Available with up to 1TB of storage capacity, the Mercury On-The-Go Pro can hold up to one million JPEG photos, 500 DVD movies, 76 hours of digital video, or 350,000 MP3 songs. The Mercury On-The-Go Pro 750GB 7200RPM line is priced at $134.99 upwards, depending on the model.

Seagate has upgraded the BlackArmor NAS Box with a bigger storage space. The company has added its 3TB drive to the 2- and 4-slot BlackArmor NAS boxes, taking capacity up to 12TB. Both systems will come pre-populated with 3TB drives in each bay. The BlackArmor NAS 440 is configured with RAID 5 and ships with 10 backup software licenses right out-of-the-box, while the NAS 220 ships with RAID 1 configuration for automatic data mirroring and five backup software licenses. Additional licenses for both can be purchased in 2 and 5 set increments. The 6TB BlackArmor NAS 220 is priced at $649.99, while the 12TB BlackArmor NAS 440 retails for $1,899.99.
