Pioneer DreamBook ePad A10 now available

Pioneer Computers new innovation, the DreamBook ePad A10 is now available for a price of $599 RRP. Just as a reminder, it features a 10.1-inch LED Multi-touch panel with a 1024×600 pixel resolution and powered by an Intel Atom N455 Processor running at 1.66 GHz or an Atom N475 Processor at 1.83 GHz. The Tablet also features an Intel NM10 Express Chipset, 8G/16G/32G SSD and a maximum of 2GB DDR3 RAM. The tablet also supports WiFi 802.11 a.b.g, it has a 1.3 Megapixel Camera on the front panel, Mini PCI-E V1.2 Slot, mini USB port, a built-in Stereo Speaker, Built-in Microphone, two USB 2.0 Ports, HDMI Connector for VGA and RJ45 Adaptor Port. HP Mini 100e Education Edition Netbook

HP announces its new Mini 100e Education Edition Netbook for Schools. The netbook was designed to help schools around the world to acquire affordable, reliable computers. It gets a 10.1-inch LED-backlit display with a 1024×600 resolution, it is powered by an Intel Atom N455 processor and 1GB of DDR3 RAM. There are other specifications which includes WiFi connectivity, an integrated worldwide modem that is compatible in all countries with the V.92 standard for dial-up internet connection, an integrated Webcam, a spill-resistant keyboard and a handle for carrying. The new HP Mini 100e Education Edition Netbook will run either Windows XP Home, Windows 7 Starter or SuSE Linux OS and priced under $300.

Neofonie WePad is now the WeTab and coming in July

Neofonie is reportedly changing the name of the recently announced WePad to the WeTab. The German Manufacture has change the name of the possible iPad Rival due to reason unknown, maybe to avoid a lawsuit from Apple. Apart from the name change the company has announced that the tablet will be available starting July 2nd for a listed price of approximately 449 euros. The only thing seem to have changed is the name, as spec wise they are the same as reported previously. There is still a Atom N450 1.66GHz processor, 16GB or 32GB Internal Storage and its 11-inch multi-touch display with a 1366×768 resolution. Two USB ports, Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth and GPS Navigation.

Sony Vaio P Series Netbook with 3G Connectivity

Sony has refreshed its Vaio P Series Netbooks, the Vaio P Series now comes in a variety of new colors which includes Orange, Green, Pink, Black or White. The refreshed versions of the Vaio P Series also gets an upgrade to a faster processor, this time an Intel Atom Z540 Processor, 64GB SSD Flash Drive, Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 500 and 2GB of RAM. There is an 8-inch/20 cm LCD display with a 1600×768 pixel resolution, plus sony has packed some new features including 3G connectivity, an accelerometer which allows you with just a “gentle shake to ‘flick’ through pictures or the pages of a PDF document, GPS with digital compass, WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, two USB ports, an integrated MOTION EYE camera, stereo speakers and a microphone. It is also interesting that Sony has decided to drop in an optical touchpad and mouse buttons which is located below the display, see photo illustrating after the jump. Asus Eee Pad Tablet runs the Windows 7 OS

After Apple’s iPad Tablet, we see tablet emerging for the four corners of the earth. Alot of iPad Clones coming out of China, HP announcing the Slate, the Asus Eee Pad Tablet and the rumor of BlackBerry coming with a Tablet dubbed the BlackPad or Cobalt. Recently Asus president and CEO Jerry Shen revealed that there will be two different versions of the Asus Eee Pad Tablet. One version will be an ARM-powered device sporting Google Android or Chrome; the other will be an Intel Atom-powered device sporting Windows 7. The Windows Version of the Eee Pad will be making its debut at Computex in June 2010.

Neofonie, a German Company releases its WePad Slate Tablet. The WePad is powered by a Atom platform alongside the Linux-based WePad OS which supports Java, Flash and Adobe AIR. The WePad gets an Atom N450 1.66GHz processor, 16GB or 32GB Internal Storage, and a SD/SDHC expansion slot. There are other specs which includes a 1.3 Megapixel webcam, a card reader and a 11.6-inch multitouch display with 1366×768 resolution. The WePad comes in two different models, the 16GB WePad priced at Euro 499 and the Euro 569 WePad 3G with 32GB, GPS and 3G connectivity. Both model supports Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity, the device is manufacturer using a magnesium-aluminum unlike the Apple iPad which is made from aluminum. Pre-Ordering of the WePad w2ill start April 27th, 2010, there are no details to say if it will be available in the United States.
