Canon introduces its new CP800 compact photo printer in the SELPHY Series, it is the successor to the CP780. It comes equipped with a tilt LCD display and has the ability to print a 4-inch x 6-inch photo in approximately 47 seconds that will last up to 100 years so your grandchildren can see. The tilt LCD display measures a mere 2.5-inch, the photo printer has a built-in card reader that supports microSD/SDHC/SDXC, SD/SDHC/SDXC, MMC, xD, CF, Microdrive and Memory Stick/PRO/PRO DUO/Micro cards. The Canon SELPHY CP800 comes with some really awesome functions including Portrait Image Optimizer that automatically delivers face detection, backlight correction, noise reduction to your images and the Red-eye Correction function that automatically reduces red-eye in flash photos. The Canon SELPHY CP800 Compact Photo Printer is presently available for a price of $99.99 and comes in the color of Black and White.

Canon unveils its new EOS 7D Studio Version (7DSV) DSLR which is said to be ideal for professional and school photographers. The camera is based from the original ESO 7D and features four different “lock” levels allowing administrators to enable the appropriate level of camera functionality which is ideal for just about any studio operation. The EOS 7D features Canon Barcode Solution for the new EOS 7D Studio Version which links customer data directly with the image file so they can be maintained throughout the entire workflow process. The EOS 7D Studio Version Barcode kit also comes with Canon’s WFT-E5A unit along with an optional barcode reader can scan and seamlessly manage image and customer data through a wired connection. The EOS 7DSV body only is at $1829 or but the kit is for $2599.

The guys over at engadget has hinted us that a Windows Phone 7 handset is coming to AT&T soon, although not certain if the launch is imminent alot of Windows Phone 7 fans will be happy to see this. The handset is from LG and goes by the model name C900. It is a side-sliding handset with a full QWERTY keyboard, a touchscreen display, there is a chrome Windows key below the screen along with two buttons which are mostly likely used for navigation. There is no word on the release date or how much it will cost.

The Olympus mju-7050 is one of the latest Digital Camera to come off the company’s production line, it features a 14 Megapixel CCD image sensor, a 7x zoom lens with 28mm wide angle and a 3-inch LCD display for playback purposes. The mju-7050 also comes with some advanced features which includes six Magic Filters for adding effect to still images, it has four Magic Movie which can apply the Magic Filters effects to 720p HD movie recordings that you can preview on a HDTV thanks to the HDMI 1.3 output and is equipped with TruePic III image processing engine. There are also other features such as a built-in “DUAL IS” image stabilization, CCD-shift image stabilization mechanism compensates for image blur due to camera shake by adjusting the direction of the CCD, in-body panorama composition, Beauty Mode and scene modes. The mju-7050 records in MPEG-4 AVC / H.264 format and stores to its 2GB internal memory or a SD/SDHC card in the slot.

Sanyo introduces its new Pocket-Size Full HD Dual Camera that comes with the model name Sanyo Xacti VPC-PD2BK. The Sanyo Dual Camera PD2 has measures of 2.48(W) x 0.87(D) x 4.36(H) in and weights only 3.7oz, it offers 10-Megapixel Still Images and Full HD 1080p Videos at 30 frames per second. The VPC-PD2BK comes with a 2-inch LCD Monitor for playback of your record HD content, there are also other features such as 3x Optical Zoom, Digital Image Stabilizer, Face Detection and a High Speed Sequential Shooting Mode. The Sanyo Xacti VPC-PD2BK has an integrated USB connector which enables the camera to be connected to a PC, without the need of cables or to be recharged its lithium-ion battery. The compact camera also comes with embedded software for sharing videos and photos to social media websites like Facebook, YouTube and Picassa using the Simple Uploader. The new Sanyo’s Pocket-Size VPC-PD2BK camera is presently available and goes for $169.99.

Virgin Media UK has announced that they have started offering the Alcatel VM202 Side-Sliding QWERTY Mobile Phone. The Handset is available in a exclusive Dazzle Pink color and goes for the price of £29.99 on pay as you go plan. Once the customer pays the £29.99 their phone will be credit with £10 that gives the user 300 free text and add £15 and the user gets unlimited internet. Some features of the VM202 includes a QVGA colour screen with a keypad below, a side-sliding QWERTY keyboard, VGA Camera on the back, MP3 Player, a 3.5mm headphone jack, FM Radio with RDS, 4MB of internal memory and supports microSD card up to 8GB. The Alcatel VM202 Mobile Phone also comes with the Opera Mini browser installed.

The new Samsung X125 Notebook that boasts the power of AMD’s Neo platform in on its way to the consumers of the United Kingdom.
