MSI has officially announced its Wind U160DX Netbook, it is an upgrade to the MSI Wind U160 that is thin and light with a battery life that offers up to 15 hours of use. The U160DX replaces the Atom N450 with the new Intel Atom N455 processor. It boasts up to 2GB of DDR3 memory, a 160GB hard drive and integrated GMA 3150 graphics chip. The new Wind Netbook includes its own TDE (Turbo Drive Engine) technology for boosting processing performance and the ECO Engine power saving technology for longer battery life. The U160DX Netbook gets a 10-inch LED-backlit display with a 1024×600 pixel resolution plus it offers support for Bluetooth 2.0 and WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity. Other specifications expected are a 1.3 Megapixel webcam, stereo speaker, optional 3.5G connectivity, 2-in-1 card reader and a D-sub output.
