JoliCloud has announced their first Netbook that adopts the name, Jolibook. The Jolibook is a 10.1-inch Netbook that runs the company’s own Jolicloud Linux-based OS. It comes pre-installed with Jolicloud 1.1 OS with Chromium 7.7 which is an upgrade of their 1.0 version which was first released. Other than running an OS never seen in action before, the Jolibook features similar specs found on the everyday Netbook. It has a 10.1-inch screen, packs the power of an Intel Atom N550 Processor running at 1.5GHz, there is a 250GB Hard Drive and 2GB of RAM. The company states that the Jolibook will be available later this month at an “affordable price”, so hopefully that may mean it will be in the range of $100 to $250.
