Virgin Mobile introduces a new Android Phone to its subscribers, it is called the Samsung Intercept that runs the Android 2.1 OS and comes equipped with a few interesting features such as a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, a 3.2-Megapixel Camera, a slide-out QWERTY Keyboard, full integration of Google Apps, such as Google Maps, Google Talk, Gmail, Youtube and Google Navigation, users get full access to the Android Market which has over 80,000 applications along with Virgin Mobile’s Beyond Talk plans which include e-mail, data and Web along with 300, 1200 or unlimited voices minutes per month. Other specifications includes WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS Navigation, Android Web browser, Dedicated keys for quick access to social networking, built-in media player and a Document file viewer. Virgin Mobile’s Samsung Intercept will be available starting today at Target stores nationwide for a price of $249.99, it should be available at all other retailer by mid-October.
