Apple has announced that they are now shipping the new 27-inch LED Cinema Display. The device is now available for purchase from the Apple Online Store for $999. The 27-inch LED Cinema Display features a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution with LED backlighting and a 178-degree viewing angle. The Apple 27-inch LED Cinema also has the option to be connected to any of the current lineup of Mac notebooks and desktop computers including the MacBook, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, iMac, Mac mini, and Mac Pro.
